Lilly and I went out the back door and watched the parade.
We have a very popular Car Club and of course just about everyone has a golf cart.
The park has many clubs our residents are members of and most of the golf carts were decked out in the club's name.
What would a parade be without politicians... (local that is).
We enjoyed a couple of High School bands.
Red Hatters of course.
And, last but not least, a firetruck.
Then "The Palm Tree Bikers" headed to Celebration for a bike ride and a lunch.
We blocked (I mean) lined up on the sidewalk, made lunch reservations and decided who is leading and who is going with the "Easy Riders" and the "Barn Burners!"
OK enough chat, let's put the foot to the pedal!
First stop, Celebration Hospital. That sounds funny when you think about it.
Everyone's a senior citizen and maybe we feel good being able to stop, hit the restroom and leave a hospital without needing to be admitted!
Look at all those happy faces. I know Jack isn't happy, the night before he drove Alice to the airport to head back to R.I.
Are we still figuring out which group to ride in?
Look, some folks take this break seriously!
Ok, 'nuff fun, time to move out.
The "Barn Burners" maintaining a steady...10.58 m.p.h.
Ahhhaaaa! The second break. Darn, no gators in the pond yet.
Everyone checks out ok to move on to the finish of our ten grueling mile trek.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel! "The Celebration Town Tavern" that is.
Twenty-five of us enjoyed some great New England fish and conversation....
although, yours truly provided the biggest laugh at our table when I dumped my full glass of ice tea on my lap!
....and that's all I'm going to say about that!
